U.N. Charters and Human Rights  Documents
Although the values that drive the mission of 8th Day Center for Justice are derived from the Christian scripture and tradition we also acknowledge that these same principles are universal in that all members of creation are aware of them through the wisdom of their own tradition and reason. We at 8th Day Center find these universal principles of fundamental human dignity outlined in the following documents to greatly compliment the same principles we operate from.

Charter of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights
International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights
International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights  Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women
Convention against Torture and other Cruel, Inhumane or Degrading Treatment or Punishment Convention on the Rights of the Child
United Nations Millennium Declaration
