Gwen Farry, BVM

Gwen has been at 8th Day Center for Justice since August, 2004 as the Representative of the Sisters of Charity, BVM.

Her earlier ministries included Elementary Education as teacher and principal, Hospital Chaplaincy, and Internal Community Service.  Since 1999 she has been involved with the Shareholder Education/Advocacy group of the BVM Congregation and has represented the Congregation at ICCR for the past two years.  She is a member of the Access to Health Care, Militarism and Violence in Society, Contract Suppliers, and Water/Food Working Groups.

At 8th Day Center her main interests are Environment, Abolition of the Death Penalty,
Weekly Prayer Vigil against the War, and End the Occupation of Palestine.
